Top 10 Women, Children's Rights Protection Cases Publicized in Yunnan
December 19, 2023A news conference was held recently, during which Yunnan (in Southwest China) Women's Federation, Yunnan Provincial Higher People's Court, Yunnan Provincial People's Procuratorate, and Yunnan Provincial Justice Department released the list of the province's top 10 women and children's rights protection cases in 2022.
The cases highlighted the achievements of the province in protecting women and children's rights and interests, especially women's rights in marriage and family, and women and minors' personal and property rights.
Yunnan has attached great importance to safeguarding the rights and interests of women and children during the past years. The provincial federation, court, procuratorate and public security department established 108 one-stop centers, to provide rights-protection services to local women and children.
